Benefits & Features

Extra Strong Stitch & Thread

The stitching and thread in other weighted blankets often breaks, spilling the beads everywhere. Extra strong thread plays a vital role in ensuring the Koala blanket lasts a lifetime. Further, the Koala is double stitched for even more protection.

Pattern Design

The unique stitch pattern of the Koala Blanket creates more pockets than normal, which are smaller yet stronger. This allows the blanket to shape perfectly to your body, providing even more comfort. The smaller pockets also hold the weighted beads in place better, so they don’t get bunched up in the corners.

All-Season Design

Designed with eco-friendly bamboo on one side and soft minky on the other, the Koala Blanket cover is perfect for all year round. Use the ultra-soft minky side in winter, and the cotton bamboo side in summer to stay comfy, always.

Loops & Ties

The loop & tie system used in the Koala blanket is unique. It allows for a secure fit of the duvet inside the cover. Other weighted blankets do not securely fasten the duvet to the cover, which creates a very uncomfortable blanket.

Weight Blanket FAQ

Weighted blankets are exactly what they sound like — they’re heavy blankets (typically 15 pounds or more) filled with a material such as plastic pellets. The theory is that the deep pressure you feel from being under all of that weight has a calming effect.

A weighted blanket offers a similar constant pressure throughout the night. Some studies suggest using one could lengthen certain stages of the sleep cycle and improve sleep quality. Weighted blankets are generally safe for adults and teens, but they shouldn’t be used for a baby.
